IMPORTANT READ BEFORE Make your Grafting Request Order
We are only able to graft twice a year, Late Spring & Late Summer.
- If we receive the order between after September 24th and before May 1st, The trees will be grafted in Spring & should be ready by the end of the year.
- For orders made after May 01st and before of September 24th will be grafted in late Summer and should be ready in the Spring following year, May most likely.

We must graft the tree and then it must go through a multi-month process to heal and grow.Only Once the small tree has completed two flushes of growth since it was grafted do we consider it ready to leave our nursery.

This is a seedling of Zill-80 from Gary Zill's breeding program in Boynton Beach, FL, and originally planting number 1-29.
The fruit are large sized, round in shape and turn yellow at maturity. They have a firm, fiberless flesh with classic-subacid flavor. The seed is monoembryonic. It is a late season fruit maturing from Juy to August.
We grafted Crystal to a Lemon Zest stump in 2018 for evaluation. It fruited impressively in 2021 and we feel this variety has very promising potential as a late season variety. Disease resistance has been strong.
The tree is moderatelty vigorous with a spreading growth habit. Because our Crystal is only a half-tree (it shares its stump with a more vigorous variety), we may plant another or top-work an additional stump into Crystal in the future.
