IMPORTANT READ BEFORE Make your Grafting Request Order

Deadline for Spring 2023 Orders is September 30th/2022.

A grafting request is an order for us to produce the specific tree that we don't currently have available in stock. We must graft the tree and then it must go through a multi-month process to heal and grow. Only Once the small tree has completed two flushes of growth since it was grafted do we consider it ready to leave our nursery.

Orders will be grafted later this year, and should be ready in the Spring or Summer /2023.

All the requests made after September 30th 2022 will be grafted this late spring, and it wouldn’t be ready until Fall, maybe October or November 2023

This avocado originated in Texas under the name ?Pryor?, (with ?Fantastic? being a name added by a nursery later on) and is reputed to be extremely cold hardy (down to 15 degrees F as a mature tree). It is a pure Mexican type, flowering as early as January and producing summer fruit here in south Florida.

The fruit is quite small, smooth light green and very thin skinned with a somewhat mild flavor and pale colored flesh, but good oil content.

Though capable of being productive, Fantastic hasn?t always ripened well for us and sometimes has issues with cracks developing in the skin as it matures.

The tree has been an aggressive grower, and It may be worth trialing in certain areas where avocados have been thought a little too cold-intolerant to be grown.

Race: Mexican

Flower type: A

Country: Texas - USA
