Orders will be grafted this Spring, and should be ready in the Fall/2023.
A grafting request is an order for us to produce the specific tree that we don't currently have available in stock. We must graft the tree and then it must go through a multi-month process to heal and grow. Only Once the small tree has completed two flushes of growth since it was grafted do we consider it ready to leave our nursery.

Gopher is another variety from mango enthusiasts Jenny and David Burd of Naples, FL, from whom we obtained our tree.
The fruit are oval-kidney shaped, developing beautiful red and yellow color. They are medium-sized, somewhat firm and yellow flesh, with a nice Indochinese-hybrid type flavor.
We planted one in 2017. It first fruited in 2021. The growth habit has been vigorous and upright, with open canopy. Production has been only moderate thus far. The fruit may be moderately prone to rotting fungi but appear highly anthracnose resistant.
Gopher appears to be a mid-season variety ripening from late June through July.
