Late Summer & Fall Grafted Trees should be ready the following Spring. Deadline is October 01
A Pre-Order Grafting Request is an order for us to produce the specific tree that we don't currently have available in stock. We must graft the tree and then it must go through a multi-month process to heal and grow. Only Once the small tree has completed two flushes of growth since it was grafted do we consider it ready to leave our nursery.

Ice Cream originated in Trinidad and is likely descended from Julie. It was introduced to the US by Maurice Kong in the 1990s.
The fruit are very small, ovate-round in shape, and turn slightly yellow when they ripen. The flesh is fiberless with a very unique and complex flavor loaded with perfumy spice notes and sweetness. It is comparable in flavor to mangos like White Piri and Imam Passand. The seed is monoembryonic.
The trees are very slow growers, somewhat dwarfish, with distinctive thin leaves and spreading, open canopy. Unfortunately they are very fungus prone and usually not very productive. The fruit is also quite prone to mango bacterial black spot, unlike other Julie progeny. For this reason they aren't a good choice for most backyards.
Ice Cream is a mid-season mango in south Florida maturing mostly in July.
