Only Once the small tree has completed two flushes of growth since it was grafted do we consider it ready to leave our nursery.

This mango is from Myanmar, and is grown on commercial scale in that country for export to other parts of Asia. Also known as the "Diamond Solitaire" or simply 'Diamond' mango (*NOT* to be confused with the Zill 'Diamond', aka HW-14, to which it bears no relation) It is considered to be of excellent eating quality and a good producer. It has also been propagated in south Florida under the name "Guava". We also suspect that the mango grown in Kerala state India by the name "Priyoor" may also be the same mango as Sein Ta Lone.
The fruit is small, oval/ovate in shape with yellow skin color. The flesh is firm, fiberless, and sweet with terrific Indochinese-hybrid type flavor. It is comparable to Dupuis Saigon, which we also love. It contains a seed that is sometimes polyembryonic.
We planted a tree in 2017 for evaluation and It fruited in 2019. Several other trees were planted and they've fruited most years, displaying some level of consistency, along with good disease resistance.
Flavor: Indochinese-hybrid
Country: Myanmar
