IMPORTANT READ BEFORE Make your Grafting Request Order
We are only able to graft twice a year, Late Spring & Late Summer.
- If we receive the order between after September 24th and before May 1st, The trees will be grafted in Spring & should be ready by the end of the year.
- For orders made after May 01st and before of September 24th will be grafted in late Summer and should be ready in the Spring following year, May most likely.
Preorder: Graft Me a 1 Gallon Tree is an order for us to produce the specific tree that we don't currently have available in stock.
We must graft the tree and then it must go through a multi-month process to heal and grow.Only Once the small tree has completed two flushes of growth since it was grafted do we consider it ready to leave our nursery.
(Estimated time is 6 to 8 months. Some varieties take longer time to growth)
Candy Corn was a chance seedling selected by the Zill High-Performance Plants nursery.
The fruit is yellow skinned at maturity, slender and oval-shaped, with a light yellow flesh that has a minimal amount of fiber. It is extremely sweet, with an Indochinese-type flavor. The seed is polyembryonic.
The tree has had a very compact and dwarfish growth habit for us thus far. It appears to be a mid-season mango in West Palm Beach. We've observed a tendency for it to produce excessive ratios of male flowers on its earlier blooms.
