IMPORTANT READ BEFORE Make your Grafting Request Order
We are only able to graft twice a year, Late Spring & Late Summer.
- If we receive the order between after September 24th and before May 1st, The trees will be grafted in Spring & should be ready by the end of the year.
- For orders made after May 01st and before of September 24th will be grafted in late Summer and should be ready in the Spring following year, May most likely.
Preorder: Graft Me a 1 Gallon Tree is an order for us to produce the specific tree that we don't currently have available in stock.
We must graft the tree and then it must go through a multi-month process to heal and grow.Only Once the small tree has completed two flushes of growth since it was grafted do we consider it ready to leave our nursery.
(Estimated time is 6 to 8 months. Some varieties take longer time to growth)
This mango is from Thailand and is commonly consumed mature-green like a crunchy apple.
The fruit are small-to-medium sized, yellow when ripe, and have an oblong-sigmoid shape. The medium-firm flesh is light yellow, with some fiber present, and is very sweet when ripe, having typical Thai mango floral and honey character and lacking in acidity. The seed is polyembryonic. The fruit often have physiological issues such as skin crack and stem end rots that prevent us from selling them.
The trees are moderately vigorous growers with spreading, dense canopy.
Pim Sen Mun is early season for us, ripening from May through June here.
