IMPORTANT READ BEFORE Make your Grafting Request Order
We are only able to graft twice a year, Late Spring & Late Summer.
- If we receive the order between after September 24th and before May 1st, The trees will be grafted in Spring & should be ready by the end of the year.
- For orders made after May 01st and before of September 24th will be grafted in late Summer and should be ready in the Spring following year, May most likely.
Only Once the small tree has completed two flushes of growth since it was grafted do we consider it ready to leave our nursery.

Delores is a Keitt seedling selected by Gary Zill from his breeding project in Boynton Beach, FL (planting # D-24), first fruiting in 2000. 'Gary' may have been the pollinating parent.
It is a large, oval-shaped mango that turns yellowish at maturity. The flesh is yellow, fiberless and soft. The skin is medium thick and separates very easily from the fruit, almost melting off at peak ripeness. It has an aroma similar to other Keitt/Gary hybrids such as Cotton Candy and Honey Kiss. The flavor is outstanding, belonging to the Gary-Citrus group with rich sweet citrus notes. Delores is one of the most impressive later-season cultivars that we have encountered. It contains a monoembryonic seed.
It was released in 2016 and we planted our Delores tree in 2017 and it finally fruited in 2023. Unfortunately, until 2024, the tree had been growing in an suboptimal spot receiving too much shade which has limited its opportunities to fruit. As of the 2025, the tree has a much better situation and fruited very well. It has a moderately vigorous growth habit with spreading, open canopy, similar to that of Keitt. We are still evaluating its performance owing to the length of time it took for it to bear its first crop.
