Mangos (Mangifera indica) are our primary crop and our passion! 

Over the years we’ve amassed a collection of over 300 different varieties of mango.

This allows us to offer our customers numerous types considered rare and hard to find, with many possessing very unique and highly sought after flavor traits. 

It also extends our season longer-than-typical, with our earliest varieties beginning to mature in the spring months and the last often holding on into September. The peak availability usually occurs from June through August.

 

We are blessed to grow our fruit in an excellent location that enhances our production and results in excellent quality.

History

Mangos belong to Anacardiaceae species of flowering plants, and are believed to have originated in the area of modern Northeast India, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. 

Over thousands of years, they have spread throughout the tropics and become firmly established as one of the most loved and celebrated fruits in the world. 

Their cultivation has brought about a massive diversity of varieties with one of the widest spectrum of flavors of any fruit in existence, along with numerous culinary uses.

Benefits

Many people across the world not only value the mango for its eating qualities and health benefits; for them, the mango also represents a piece of home. A timeless part of their culture and who they are. 

 

Consumed ripe or green, in recipe dishes or most commonly simply on their own, mangos offer a fascinating and delicious opportunity to the palate. They are also high in Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Beta Carotene, an excellent source of fiber and many antioxidants and flavonoids.
