General Statement

We strive to make our shipping prices and policies as fair as possible, so you benefit from our competitive pricing, plus the convenience of delivery right to your door by the US Post Office.

  • We process and ship orders Monday through Saturday during all Fruits or budwood season.

  • We do not ship or deliver on Sundays or holidays.

  • Shipping trees – AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST IF APPLICABLE. (Subject to applicable fees & charges)

  • We ship fruit to all the continental US except California and Hawaii due to state regulations.


All our products are shipped safely in a secure package system, specifically designed to protect and ensure that all the fruits or budwood that ship with it arrive in good condition. Years of experience have proven this is the best method for our products.


Tropical Acres Farms will send you a shipment confirmation with tracking information for your reference.

Please check your spam folder and make sure is an accepted e-mail address. If you lost your tracking number or are otherwise unable to locate it, please contact Customer Support.


Tropical Acres Farms is not responsible for:

  • Items delivered to incorrect addresses supplied by the sender.

  • Unsuccessful deliveries arising from the recipient not being present at the time of delivery at the address supplied by the sender.

  • Decreased product quality due to an incorrect delivery address supplied by the sender, or a re-route requested by the sender.

  • Product quality problems caused by improper handling by the recipient.

  • All Sales are final.

About Tree Shipments

We will invoice you later for Shipping Service Requested. Unfortunately we are not able to provide free shipping service.

The trees need sometime several months to be ready that's why the shipping service  you would have to pay separately when the trees are ready to ship.

We don’t have a shipping calculator on our website so you would need to provide your shipping information.

Shipping Methods for Trees

We attempt to provide the most economical rate depending on your location using following services:

  • FedEx 2-day Express Shipping - Highly Recommended.

  • FedEx 3 to 5 Days Express

  • We can ground ship for less but that can take a week or sometimes longer & it could be increasing the risk on your trees: FedEx Ground/Home 5 to 7+ days

Possible Shipping Delays

If you place an order when extreme temperature or weather conditions are likely. We will be delaying or scheduling your shipping to better weather conditions to avoid damages on your tropical plant(s).  If the customers are not able to wait, Buyers assume full risk for Plants damages during shipping.


Processing time for CA orders is longer than for orders going to other states. This additional time is required for preparing plants for shipping (additional treatments and quarantine).

How long does it take for a package to arrive?

Normal delivery time is 1-7+ business days. (Depending of the FedEx Service Requested)

Address Restrictions:

Fruits Shipments to California and Hawaii

We are unable to ship fruit to Hawaii or California due state regulation at this time. (Agricultural Restrictions)


Delivery to Hospitals, Hotels and College Campuses

Due to delivery complications, we do not recommend sending gifts to hospitals, hotels or college campuses. USPS do NOT deliver directly to a hospital patient's room or a student's specific dorm room. Per policies in place for security and confidentiality reasons, packages sent to patients at a hospital or students on a college campus are delivered to the institution's main mail room or a reception area. Delivery is complete once the package is delivered to the hospital or college campus. Hospital/College staff are responsible for distributing packages to patients/students and any questions regarding delivery will need to be directed to the hospital/college from there.

If you decide to send a gift to one of these locations, please call them and find out the following information:

  • What is their policy on accepting packages? Some locations do not accept packages or have special guidelines and restrictions.

  • How are the packages received and what needs to be included in the address? Oftentimes specific buildings, departments, and/or room numbers need to be included

  • We cannot guarantee that packages will be delivered to recipients at hospitals, hotels and college campuses. We are not responsible for gifts that are lost on-site or for gifts that arrive after a patient/guest has checked out.


About California Tree Shipments

Phyto certificate is Mandatory for shipping live plants to California

California requires several phytosanitary certifications, specifically against two different kinds of nematodes, as well as an imported fire ant certification.

They also require that we only grow California-certified trees on special benches.

The cost of these for California-bound trees is automatically priced into the shipping when that gets calculated. Handling fee automatically added to all CA orders for additional processing: special plant treatments, Phyto certificates.

If you indicate a shipping address in in California, please be aware of our policy which requires recipients to assume all financial risk for any trees shipped to a California address due to the potential for rejection, seizure and destruction of the plant by state of California Agricultural authorities. While we will provide Phyto sanitary certification as required and do our best to ensure the plants are pest and disease free, we will NOT supply a refund for ANY seized trees. By checking the box provided at checkout, Buyer agrees to these terms.

About Arizona Tree Shipments

Arizona has stricter requirements for shipping trees than most states. Any tree order we ship to Arizona must be shipped to a receiving nursery on a list approved by the state of Arizona.

They do not allow us to ship to individual households. So you may want to find a local nursery on the approved list and see what they would charge you for the receiving fees.


The second option to receive your trees is to contact the Arizona Agriculture department  when you receive our communication that your trees are ready for shipment to apply  for your temporary holding area.

After their approval we will be able to send the shipping & handling invoice for your order.


About Hawaii  Tree Shipments

We are unable to ship Trees to Hawaii due state regulation. (Agricultural Restrictions)


Leaves removed

On some plants, partially or even completely.

This is due to new requirements of CA department of agriculture.

Any leaf with a spot or dot (including those natural occurred coloration due to sun/weather conditions) cannot enter the territory of the Country of California.

All our plants shipped to CA, are 100% free of pests. However, we've had a bad experience when even sun-burned leaves became a reason why the whole shipment was destroyed by CA department of AG.

Delivery outside the United States         

We are unable to ship outside the United States.


We are unable to ship to APO/FPO addresses.

Change of Delivery Address

Any change of address prior to delivery must be received in writing prior to shipping. Any changes made to the address and / or phone number after the order has been shipped is subject to an intercept and transportation fee, which is charged to us by the carrier.


International Orders

We do not ship fruit or trees outside the US, nor to the US Territories, including Guam, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. If you have further questions, please contact our Customer Support Department.

Payment Terms

               All orders must be prepaid by credit card, cashier's check, money order, or personal check. All orders must be paid in full before shipping.

It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.
