IMPORTANT READ BEFORE Make your Grafting Request Order

We are only able to graft twice a year, Late Spring & Late Summer.
  • If we receive the order between after September 24th  and before May 1st, The trees will be grafted in Spring & should be ready by the end of the year.
  • For orders made after May 01st  and before of September 24th  will be grafted in late Summer and should be ready in the Spring following year, May most likely.

Preorder: Graft Me a 1 Gallon Tree is an order for us to produce the specific tree that we don't currently have available in stock.
We must graft the tree and then it must go through a multi-month process to heal and grow.
Only Once the small tree has completed two flushes of growth since it was grafted do we consider it ready to leave our nursery.
(Estimated time is 6 to 8 months. Some varieties take longer time to growth)

The Juliette is a seedling of Julie from the breeding program of Gary Zill in Boynton Beach, FL (planting # HE-4).

The fruit are fairly small, oval shaped somewhat similar to Julie, turning a light yellow-green color at maturity with less pink blush than its parent. The flesh is very soft, fiberless, and has a rich Indian spice flavor that we and others believe tastes more similar to Carrie or Ugly Betty than Julie itself. The seed is monoembryonic.

The trees are definitely more vigorous growers than Julie, with a more upright growth habit and very dense canopy that often hides mature fruit from visibility.

Production appears steady and reasonably good, and more interestingly the season is mid-late, with the fruit ripening from July into August most years, making it a good option for people who desire a later-fruiting Carrie-like flavored mango. Juliette appears promisingly resistant to bacterial spot and rot, but may be very prone to anthracnose in more humid areas.
