San Miguel is from Hawaii, a hybrid of unreported parentage but likely with some Guatemalan genes. It is not to be confused with ‘Miguel’ which is a Florida avocado.
The fruit are reported to be of excellent quality and turn purple when nearing maturity.
Our tree has grown very slowly and has yet to produce fruit.
