This Guatemalan-type avocado was selected in south Florida by the Brooks family of Homestead, FL (no relation to Brooks mango), and has the distinction of being one of the latest varieties to mature here, with fruit maturing January through February but sometimes hanging into March. It is a green-skinned, roundly shaped, mildly flavored fruit with a large seed.
The trees are good producers and make B-type flowers.
