This avocado is originally from Miami, FL and was selected in 1937 by Willis Hall.
It is thought to be a West Indian-Guatemalan hybrid.
The pear-shaped fruit is medium sized, green skinned, with yellow flesh and a medium sized seed.
It is a very productive avocado and possesses some cold tolerance as well (perhaps to the mid-to-low 20s).
Hall produces B-type flowers, and the fruit matures from November to December.
