This mango is presumably from Thailand, though there is no literature supporting this. We obtained our tree from a nursery in southwest Florida and evidently there is a tree under this label at the Miami-Dade Fruit and Spice Park, though it’s unclear if they are the same variety.
At any rate, the fruit are oblong in shape, develop light red/pink color and bear some resemblance to the Maha Chanok mango, but with a fatter appearance. The flesh is light yellow, fiberless, with a regular Thai honey/floral flavor lacking any acid component.
Its a very productive tree and seems highly anthracnose resistant.
Its an early season fruit maturing from June to July.
